HOW HIGH CAN I FILL MY SKIP?
Skips must be filled to level to ensure they are safe to be transported.
WHAT AM I NOT ABLE TO PUT IN MY SKIP?
We cannot accept Hazardous Waste such as: Asbestos, Oils, Paints, Gas Bottles/Canisters and Chemicals. We can take Mattresses, Fridges/Freezers and tyres for an additional charge.
WHAT SKIP SIZE DO I NEED?
WHERE CAN MY SKIP BE PLACED?
We can place a skip on your driveway, front garden or privately owned land. If you do not have these we can obtain a road license from your local council to enable the skip to be placed on the roadside outside your property.
CAN MY SKIP GO ON THE ROAD?
As we are a approve supplier for all the local councils, We are able to apply for a road permit license on your behalf. Meaning you are able to have one of our skips on the road. The permit fees are set by the council, these do take 4 working days to be approved. Although in some cases they can be fast tracked for an additional fee.

HOW SKIP HIRE WORKS?
Phillips Skips deliver the relevant skip, the skip is placed on a driveway, front garden, private land or roadside once the skip is full to level a collection is booked & the skip is collected. All waste returns to our fully licensed waste transfer station in Selby where the waste is segregated into different waste streams ensuring Zero waste to Landfill.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY WASTE ONCE THE SKIP IS COLLECTED?
At Phillips Waste Management LTD all waste is sent to our bespoke waste transfer station in Selby, enabling the waste to be segregated into different materials and recycled. We do not send any waste to Landfill.
